What is Enlighten The Shadows?
We are a registered charity dedicated to supporting men's mental health through support groups, counseling, and community awareness.
Is there a cost to access services?
No. All our core support services are free of charge. We believe financial status should never act as a barrier to help.
Support Groups
Do I need to sign up?
For most regular weekly circles, you can just drop in. However, we recommend sending a quick message first so we can look out for you.
Can women attend?
Our core circles are Men-Only spaces to allow for specific peer support. However, we have community events open to everyone.
Donations & Volunteering
How is my donation used?
100% of public donations go directly to funding our support sessions, venue hire, and professional counseling costs.
Do I need qualifications to volunteer?
Not for all roles. We offer full training for support facilitators. Roles like fundraising or events don't require clinical experience.
